"The Historic Collection"---its name always conveys some kind of respect for those who poured their love and passion into replicating vintage guitars. Obviously, it is a respect for the splendid Gibson guitars that are brought back to life. Further still, it is a respect for the origins of the world's most distinguished and complete musical instrument, represented by the legendary "59 Burst".

At "Area59", our goal is to re-enact the works of those dedicated men immersed in wood, metal, paint, and machines. We pay respect to each process, scrutinizing, imagining and analyzing each one, in a "hysteric" way.

Just a touch of a glorious "Historic Collection" was enough to spark our urge to do something, to produce the perfect replica of the original, as a way to honor those worthy craftsmen. This is how our club started. "Area59" could not be happier to share our maniacal fixation with all Gibson fans worldwide.
